NEW DELHI: About 259 real estate projects registered with the Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP-RERA) in 2024. These projects are expected to to provide homes for approximately 2.7 lakh families across the state.
Among the major cities, Lucknow recorded 61 project registrations and is expected to witness the construction of nearly 54,000 homes, while Gautam Buddh Nagar saw 51 new projects and will see over 1.1 lakh new homes coming up.
The estimated investment in these newly registered projects stands at approximately Rs 45,000 crore.
Sanjay Bhoosreddy, chairman, UP-RERA said, "the state’s investor-friendly policies and infrastructure development are driving real estate growth across all regions. Besides major cities like Noida and Ghaziabad, other cities are also witnessing increasing demand for housing, driven by improvements in education, employment, healthcare, and other urban facilities."
